This was taken in May, 2012, at the Pana'ewa Rainforest Zoo, on a somewhat overcast day. The sun never came out on our stroll through the zoo, which helped, somewhat, to provide rich colors to the Purple Lotus Flowers in the water garden there. The zoo is on the Big Island of Hawaii, a few miles south of the Hilo International Airport. Well worth the visit. Don't miss the frog.
